Welcome to the West Piedmont Regional Bicycle Plan

Under the guidance and direction of the West Piedmont Planning District Commission and a regional bicycle advisory committee, a regional bicycle plan was completed on May 31, 2005, for the entire West Piedmont Region.  The project placed emphasis on evaluating existing conditions for bicycling in the region today and on identifying bicycling corridors for future planning and development.  Final project files are posted below in PDF format for your use.  These files have been updated at the request of some member jurisdictions, with the last revision in September 2007.  Should you require further information regarding this plan, please contact us at:  staff@wppdc.org.  Please note that these files call for Adobe Acrobat and the inclusion of the Map Style Fonts with an instructional text file which are listed below:
