It is said that small business is the backbone of America, providing an estimated eighty percent of jobs in recent years. This holds true in the West Piedmont Region as well. As an economy in transition, many start-up companies and entrepreneur opportunities continue to grow in the area, providing jobs and boosting local taxes.
